Machinery Characteristics: Tungsten and molybdenum producers mostly use cored bar of 1 KG. The drawn wire is short. The cored bar can't use multi-mould to draw wire and can't draw thick filament for exportation. The sales of the Tungsten and molybdenum wires are limited and thus the company's development is also limited. If it's to use bigger cored bar and big rolling mill, it needs huge investment which most of the companies can't afford. The most efficient way now is to add a butt welder in the production line to weld the 1KG cored bar materials to 4-6KG cored bars. The investment is low but the effect is quick. Generally, because of the short cored bar, drawbench needs feeding constantly and a worker can take care of two drawbenches. Our tungsten and molybdenum butter welder can connect the short bar to long bars and thus a worker can take care of up to 5 drawbenches.
Besides, some very short materials can't be fed to the drawbench. Or the cored bars' lengths are different, after cutting, most of the short bars can't be used and it's a great waste. Our butter welder can connect the short bars to long bars and help reduce the cost.
